After Applying Color...?

What do you do? I used a temporary color once on my hair once, a long long time ago. I am going to color the front of it soon, once I find the exact color that I am looking for. All of the instructions I've read say to shampoo, towel dry, and then apply the color. But what then? Would I DC as usual, etc? Or would I have to do something else?

I usually apply a leave in after coloring. Qhemet Biologics CTDG is my favorite, it helps combat any dryness that may occur due to the coloring process. After that, I put my hair in large twists and let it air dry.

After I apply a semi perm color I always use a conditioner..imo doesnt have to be a DC. Semi perm hair colors are like treatments, they are actually good for the hair.

I usually put a little coconut oil on my hair immediately after I towel dry.
