African Thread Wrapping Pics?

I am just following up on the African Secrets post. Does anyone have pics or know where I can see pics of thread wrapped hair? Also, would braids have the same protective benefits as thread wrapping?

Yes, braiding is a protective style but I think that the thread wrapping is more of a protective style because the hair is completely covered with thread (with the exception of the scalp) and it just hangs without being mixed with extensions etc.
