Affrim- Self Relaxers

I am planning to relax my hair with Affirm Lye. I have relaxed my hair many times before and like the results. My qeustion is - Should I purchase any other Affirm products like Protecto? I ask this because brands from the same line sometimes works better together.

My protecto came with the 4lb tub of Affirm, from Sheldeez. I use it but am unsure of the effectiveness of it.

I would recommend the Affirm 5 n 1 Reconstructor. I also use Kera-Care products which are also part of the Avlon line.
