Advise on S Curl

Hi Ladies,

I would like to try S Curl when wearing the braid out. Sometimes when I wash my hair and braid it when I take it out in the morning my hair is nice and soft and hanging down nicely. By the end of the day I get major shrinkage and the waves look frizzy and dry. I want something that will keep it moist (not wet) through out the day and keep it from shrinking too much. Is S Curl the best bet? Also where do I buy this? and is there any special brand?

tee tee, try searching under S-Curl and SCurl as well. i think that will make a difference with the search.

you can find S-Curl at most beauty supply stores. the bottle that i get looks like this:

there are other formulas that people here have had success with though.

you could definitely try this product with the braid out. the one thing i will caution about is not using too much. because it has glycerine, which is a humectant, it can be difficult to get the right effect because your hair will take forever to dry (if it dries. lol!). so i'd say use sparingly then use another product on your ends to seal in the moisture and help avoid frizz.
