If you think that you have an adversary, is this adversary raised up by God or is this adversary the devil, or is this adversary one that you have created?
Why or how did/do you come to that conclusion?
How many (if any) adversary categories can you identify in your life?
If you think that God has raised up an adversary for you, why has He done so?
I Kings 11:14 = God can create an adversary for you.
God raised up an adversary against Solomon because Solomon's heart was not loyal to God as Solomon turned to and worshiped other gods. As a result God rebuked him and executed His punishment.
If God raises up an adversary for someone, it appears that it is too late to repent as it seems that this is one way He uses to execute His judgment upon those who disobey Him.
Matthew 5:25 - An adversary can be a person
Jesus taught us to agree quickly with our adversary
I Peter 5:8 - The devil is the adversary of all believers
