Adding tracks for highlights/fullness?

Does anyone know how to put in a row of tracks? It seems pretty simple in theory but I'd love to find some kind of tutorial. I'm afraid to dye my hair but want to see how I'd look with 2 or 3 tracks sew in. Any advice would be appreciated.

I used to do this alll the time back in the day. All you have to do is cornrow a small horizontal braid where ever you would like to place the track. Then you just cut the track to the length of rhe cornrow and sew it on the cornrow.

I'm thinking about adding a track here & there for highlights...I'll have to remember that "horizontal braid" suggestion....
