How many of you add a little castor or olive oil when you are dc'ing your hair to "seal" in the moisture?

I DC with Aubrey Organics HoneySuckleRose Moisturizing Conditioner. I mix in EVCoconutOil, Jojoba Oil, and Sweet Almond Oils......then I sit with heat for about 30min to 1-hour. When I rinse....mmmmmmm.....butter:lick::lick:

I use to do this about a year ago it was working out great for me dont know why i stopped,I will have to resume again.

I love mixing both of these. They are the BOMB!!! Castor oil when my hair is really dry.

i mix my conditioners with coconut oil and honey. i used to use JBCO and that was good but coconut oil is much more moisturizing for me.

I always mix my conditioner/evoo/castor oil and deep condition on dry hair every week. My hair stays shiny when i do it this way.

I add oil(s) to my Motions Moisture Plus conditioner.

I also add Evoo and Coconut oil to my cond, I learned this techinique from this forum- and what a diffrence it makes on my hair,

I add a mix of EVOO, castor oil and coconut oil to my conditioners also. My hair doesn't dry out as much.

I add castor and coconut oils to my DC. My hair loves it. :yep:

I'm under my dryer at the mo' with avocado oil and peppermint oil mixed with conditioner. This is my first time doing this. Hope it turns out ok.

This is exactly what I do, I add them to my AO HSR or Nexxus Humectress and use as an overnight prepoo

I add EVOO to my conditioner, Imma start adding other stuff.

Gosh, I have a lot of different exotic oils and butters that I use sometimes, but I always add something. Lately it's been camila and avocado oils. My hair is never dry is always shinny and does not break.

I do every week, i love Olive Oil :lick:,tommorow is my hair wash day. :lick:

I also do a treatment egg, mayo.and olive oil, and let sit with a plastic cap.

I'm trying it tomorrow morning

Cool, please update on how it goes for ya. I liked the results I got. The conditioner I used was a protein one and the oils didn't seem to disturb the conditioner at all. The hair came out strong and moisturized, with more of a shine than usual.

I used to add EVOO until I discovered castor oil. Now I prepoo with a castor/amla blend, and I add jojoba oil to my DC because my hair absolutely loves it. Nothing makes my hair softer or more pliable.

I add coconut oil to my conditioners. I pre poo with Vatika Frosting.

Are we talking about regular conditioner or deep conditioner? I don't have a deep moisturizing conditioner anymore. Just the 5 minute conditioners.

After trying so many from evco, avocado, castor, almond etc..I love evoo the best! I use to really like evco but now I prefer evoo overall. It's the most moisturizing for my hair. I also add it to my cowash including peppermint oil.
