Can someone explain to me the benefits of using Apple Cider Vinegar on the hair?

Okay, I checked out a few threads, but I didn't see too many comments on IF an ACV rinse will destroy hair will color.
Can anyone verify if they use ACV rinses with hair color? Any problems?
