ACV & Aveda DR Shampoo

I mixed 2 capfuls of ACV in an applicator bottle with a capful of Aveda DR shampoo and diluted it I used it to wash my scalp (mostly) and worked it through the rest of my hair and my scalp and hair felt amazing. I followed up with the conditioner and treatment. I usually use the ACV every couple of weeks to clarify but decided to try this since I've been heavy duty on the sulphur mixes everyday- i think I will now incorporate this into my reggie every 2 weeks- My hair was not left feeling "stripped" anyone else try this?

Nah. I would simply use a shampoo specific for clarifying to ensure the proper pH balance. I like to keep things simple.

I just use the detoxifier by aveda to clarify. i just ordered some more today!!

Pls don't encourage the PJ in me- I have decided that my products will all now have to multi-task. :naughty: there will be no more splurges on irrelevant/non-essential products :look: *just after I get my steam rollers, avocado butter and/or mango butter, Jamaican black castor oil, elasta dpr...*

I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!!!!!! Its so gentle. My hair is left feeling clean, but not stripped. I didnt think i would find a replacement to KeraCar 1st lather but this exceeded my expectation.

I shampoo'd with DR shampoo and then did an ACV rinse before. My hair felt amazing. I also used a cotton ball to scrub my scalp with ACV. It really helped cut down my itchies! :)
