Activator for lye hair

I perm my hair with cream of nature lye relaxer and was taught that certain products are for certain types of hair. I read several forums with the mention of activator being used on the hair to moisturize. I thought activator spray was for texturized hair and jerry curl. Is it really safe for me to use it on my lye relaxed (bone straight) hair?

I think you can use it on your hair. Activators are types of moisturizers, so it's safe.
