About Btms...

Looking for wisdom from the board.

Now, is BTMS something safe for me to purchase and mix whatever else I want in it at home? I ask because I see where it can be bought as a base online..already prepackaged (mixed with preservatives).

I see raves about this as an ingredient.

Anyone with feedback, advice for BTMS as a base...or maybe a product line with it VERY high on the ingredient list?

BTMS is in most of the products that really work for my hair. I picked some up but have yet to use it. It is supposed to be safe as it is made from rapeseed oil.
