Please tell me that I am not the only one that this happens to. All seems well for the 1st week to two, and then the spirals come back. I apply relaxer to this section first because I know it's resistant- but this section ain't having it. I tried a new relaxer(Silk Elements) the last touch up thinking that may be the problem, that my hair had just gotten used to the Affirm. And again all was well for the 1st 2 weeks, but now it's just as wavy as ever. The Silk Elements did take beautiful on the rest of my hair though:yep:.

I smooth with my fingers, do you think smoothing with a comb in this one section will help?

If you been able to overcome this problem please SHARE!

If it is just one section of the hair and the rest is taking the relaxer fine then i would say that it is most probably over processed. And that it is why it seems as if it is reverting.

I see what your saying but I don't think it's a case of overprocessing at all. As that one section is strong as all get out. No breakage whatsoever, no splits, very healthy as a matter of fact. I have had overprocessed hair in the past due to a salon relaxer, and this lil section feels nothing like that at all.
