AAAAHHHH!!!! I made my beautician scream!

I've been bunning and taking care of my hair faithfully for the past 7 weeks since my last relaxer. I had to go get one today, the new growth was hateful!
My beautician (she's all about healthy hair) relaxed me, then sat me in the chair. That's when she screamed. :eek::eek:
I swear my head hit the ceiling, I yelled, "what?!"

She whipped the chair around and gave me a mirror...my hair which was just APL 7 weeks ago, was now hanging over the chair, and was just hitting BRASTRAP. It grew more than I could have hoped for!

All the other people in the shop came running over to see...everyone was oohing and aahing...it was like someone had performed a miracle up in there! :lachen::lachen:

All of you who are discouraged and feel like your hair won't grow, don't give up. I can honestly say all the vitamins, the buns and the MTG were worth it!
WHOOPEE!!!! :woot::bouncy:

BTW...I had her cut off about an inch, the ends were too thin...but now I know it'll grow back! :grin:

This is great news for me too cuz I KNOW my hair's been growing like a weed with the MTG, Biotin and conditioning I've been doing. It'll be 9 weeks post once I get to the salon next Friday. Can't wait. :yay:
 
Congratz, just wait until your next touch up then they'll really loose their minds in that shop.

I was mtg-ing my scalp everytime I washed/rinsed (every 2 days)...I think the peppermint oil I mixed it with really helped, my beautician says scalp stimulation means more growth.
WGO helped when the new growth was poppin'! :lol:
And TOO many pills...evening primrose, b complex, flax, fish oil, and a one a day womens.
I drank at least 4 glasses of water a day and tried to exercise.

And of course buns buns buns 6 days a week! :lol:

Congrats!

So... how will you reward your efforts? New product, new style, hair toss for no reason... other than you can- :lol:. I can't imagine what my reaction will be 'when' I reach bra strap. Wayto go!
 
that's great congrats, I was getting a little discouraged b/c the guy I'm dating keeps telling me to get my hair done, he doesn't understand that I am trying to learn how to take better care of my hair w/o the assistance of unprofessional hairdressers and my hair has been growing like crazy, however I am so tempted to get a weave but posts like this keeps me focused!
