Being on these forums, and having to plait my stoopid little brothers more than SL hair that I made him grow, has really made me miss my old hair. I was reading this website http://ourhair.net/content/view/39/40/1/3/ and figured that my hair has been relaxed bone straight, especially before last July when my old salon used to use a tailcomb
erplexed So I thought maybe I should texturise it instead, so I looked up the old threads and thought yeah it's a good idea. Then I realised ....
1) I'm already using affirms mild (it dont get any weaker than that)
2) One time the stylist finished putting it on quite quickly, went out back for *2 seconds* then rinsed it off and it was still perfectly straight
3) My hair never had curls in it to loosen anyway
So I ask, is there anything I can do to get a little texture to my hair, like a baby wave or something, either chemically or otherwise. I like the idea of a texturiser, so correct me if my points above aren't valid. I've tried braidouts, but perhaps because I canerow very well they're too rounded (if that makes sense) because my twist/braid/canerow outs always make me look like whitney in that 'I wanna dance with somebody' video i.e. very short 'out to the sides' hair. My hair's not very long or thick so I don't know about rollersets, I dont have any rollers and have never tried to be honest, but again, at my old salon I looked (somehow!) like the old mum from The fresh prince of bel-air (u know that curly afro thing) whenever they took a set out.
Any advice would be welcomed with open arms.
Happy Easter and sorry its so long, my spirit is broken (lol at American idol)
