A soft wave

When my hair gets to its desired length, I would love to have straight hair with a slight wave, not curly and not defined waves, just a pretty light soft wave. How can I acheive that sort of look without heat (or at least without a lot)? I would prefer some sort of set. How do you twist outs? or bantu knots come out for example?

i suggest that after u press your hair (or rollerset), you section your hair out and put them in braids (not too tight and not too loose)for about a day or so, then take em out the next day.
