A section of my hair has BROKEN!

"Honestly, Truly"
ARgh! I'm getting so tired of this, just when my hair is growing again and is evening out, a section breaks, for what I DO NOT KNOW! It's so frustrating, I look at your pics and I don't see how my hair will ever look CLOSE, seriously.

I'm wondering if it's because of the chicken pox I recently had in my scalp? It's a small section, but it's all about an inch long.

My hair doesn't seem to be getting thicker either, although you can't *see through* it anymore *sigh*

Sorry, i'm just being miserable, but it's really off putting.

Did you put any medication on your scalp for the chicken pox?? I never had the pox before. Do you do any protein treatments?

Hi ladies, i've done one protein treatment (I was *Really* clueless before this board!), the apoghee keratin reconstructor, it was great! I'm 3 weeks post perm, I think i'll do one next week. I also use either lustrasilk or Lekair deep conditioning treatment.

Take in the fact that i've only starting caring for my hair for the last 6 weeks, and I am seeing results, this is why i'm so disappointed in this latest breakage.

Spanish - I only put aloe vera in my hair while I had pox, I must admit, I did scratch them quite a bit.

But i've only

I am sure it will grow back soon. A couple of months ago I had a section break off too (pic) and its growing in nicely

When my father was first diagnosed with Cancer my hair fell our tremedously. Nothing worked for my hair and it was no conditioner that could've saved it. As time went on when I wasn't as stress my hair grew with the same regimen I used before.

If you are doing your regular washes, deep conditioning and moisturizing, then maybe it is something physical or emotional that is causing your hair to keep breaking.

Chicken pox could've had an affect on your scalp. I would see a doctor to get a better diagnosis. With anything don't worry too much, because worrying will also take your hair out. Just know you are beautiful in any way. Remember hair will grow back!

God bless!

I would reccomend investing in a good quality shampoo and conditioner like redken all soft, nexxus, paul mitchell or aveda they are defintely worth the money.

Especially living in England where the water and weather are hard on our hair. My hair never behaves when I go home

Thanx for the tip! I've only started caring properly for my hair for about a month, and I am seeing results, i'm just disappointed at this latest event.

I will definitely look out for the products you mentioned!
