a scarf that doesn't stain my pillow case?

I have this red silk scarf that I used but whenever I sleep in it, I get a red stain on my sheets! I messed up some nice 300 count sheets (color was beige) wearing this scarf! When I was n France I would have to drop like a pound of bleach pellets in the load to clean my pillow cases there.......I don't like wearing cotton scarves...is there another kind of scarf thats good for the hair but don't bleed? Is it only the red ones that bleed?

My friend told me to prevent materials from "bleeding" wash it with vinegar/water mix and it'll stop.

Thanks! I have a purple satin scarf that likes to mess things up. Especially if I have olive oil on my hair.
