A Sally\'s sale and the NC hair sitch

So I needed a new dryer.....and I know from all my southern girls that Sally's is the first stop when it comes to haircare. Now I see why!

I got a new hooded hairdryer - Gold n Hot - for 20.99 (which is wonderful because I already have one and I had to justify getting a new one to my SO). I also bought some new conditioners and a new product to try.

I got the ION Effective Care Treatment Intensive Therapy Protein Rebuilder and Moisturizer, Generic Humectress and the L'Oreal Natures Therapy Perfect Curls leave in to use for airdrying (SG has me inspired to master the airdrying technique so I can use less heat one day when I grow up

)

I also stopped in a mall and saw a woman cutting hair in a salon who was DOING her thing. I got her card and her name and I'll be letting her trim me soon. Once I go a few times I'll see about letting her cut my hair. She seems to know what she's doing, she's friendly, and HER hair looked DOPE - which is important to me...

I'll let you know how that goes.

Let us know how the ION Effective Care Treatment Intensive Therapy Protein Rebuilder and Moisturizer works out. I'm curious about their deep conditioners.

the ION protein rebuilder is GREAT! I still have some of it in my cabinet, last week Sallys had a buy one get one ION product free sale.

glad you found a good stylist to trim your hair!

It IS good! It's way more of a protein conditioner than a mositurizer even tho it calls itself both....

I needed to follow up with something to soften immediately! I like it so far!

umm Tracy..at my sally the dryer is 29.99 do you have to use a coupon or something?

Re: A Sally\'s sale and the NC hair sitch

Nope. Maybe I just got lucky. I thought all the Sally's had the same sales. No coupon. It was just marked 20.99.
