I'm looking to buy some rollers for my transitioning style but I dont know what size to buy. The very back and bottom of the sides or my hair are about 5 inches and the crown is 9+ but inbetween is 7. I want to go for a short curly effect, not a comb thru with loose hanging curls. What size rollers should I get?

And also should I be looking at foam, mesh, those plastic/metal ones I see alot of in the fotkis with the holes or them plastic "comb thru" ones

dimpalz, if you want the short curly effect i wouldnt use anything thats less than the 1 inch rollers. I have some small yellow ones from goody that i think are 1/4 inch. I dont get the 'hangy' curls but the ones that stay tightly rolled. Unfortunately i dont have a picture of the roller but im sure if you did a google search you could find them. I dont use ones with ' teeth' on them, just the magnetic ones (the ones with the holes in them) that have a snap cover on them. I hope that makes sense.
