A quick relaer question

I just got Mizani Butter Blends to relax my hair but now I am considering streching my relaxer even longer (7mos post now). My question is how do I ensure that when I use it later this year that it is still fresh? I did open the tub to smell it, so yes it was opened. A friend of mine mentioned putting it in the refrigerator. Is that wise?

Wow...I don't know the answer to this question, but I always thought the lye relaxer tubs are always good until you run out, BUT then again, I'm not sure, you might have to call customer service for mizani and get a real answer.....sorry I couldn't help......

Just put it in the frig, it will be fine.
