Thanks ladies!! I'll answer some of your questions:

How long did it take me to grow? Um I had JUST enough to braid when I started and I had 2 braid sessions through about 5 months.

Hair type? um no clue but it's coarse and resistant coils and bushes and all that... I'm thinking like a 4 something

Thanks for the comments about my family I think they're pretty cute too. I just finished my first twist out and if I get up early enough in the morning I'll post pics of that tomorrow

The pic of the afro was straight out of braids and dirty... ugh that was gross... I didn't take pics of after washing and when I flat ironed it but it was still HUGE!!
