A Conversation About Wigs

Hi,

I am new old visitor to the site. I am thinking about purchasing a wig -this one in particular:

However, I don't understand all the options. Can someone refer me to a site that explains the current wig styles and options? I am embarrassed to say that although I've heard of the term "lacefront" (mainly from bossip), I don't know what it means and I don't know why it's more expensive than ordinary wigs. Please excuse my ignorance on this subject but I am a wig virgin.

You can read about lace front wigs here and then see vids of them being applied here. I am one of those chickens afraid of them, though. If people who can afford expert stylist end up with hairlines like Naomi Campbell's, then I'ma pass. Give me a good ol' wig that my Mom used to wear and I'ma be happy.
