A Church in Brooklyn?

I have a relative in desperate need of a home church in Brooklyn. She is struggling financially, emotionally, spiritually, and the place she is at now doesn't seem to be filling her spirit so that she can get her life in order.

She's a single mom and if any of you know the "system" in NYC, then you know how many lists there are. She can't go to work, because she can't get daycare, She doesnt have a network of people who can help her out and she is FRUSTRATED. I wish I was there so I could help.

Single mother of three children, one middle schooler, one elementary schooler, one toddler.

She has so many dreams and aspirations. She's in her early 30's and is stuck. Do you all know of any churches that are child friendly and mom friendly that maybe has resources assistants, programs or something to help her get out of her rut.

Hi HeChangedMyName, I'm very sorry to hear that your relative is going through such a difficult time. I don't know if she prefers small or large congregations but I know of two churches that are large that should be able to help her. Christian Cultural Center and Brooklyn Tabernacle. The first one happens to have a charter school for children from kindergarten up to middle school and possibly high school in the near future, if she becomes interested in that as well. I pray these help.

I told her about both churches today. She said Brooklyn Tabernacle is closest to her. I hope she at least goes to try it out Sunday. I love my cousin and I know the right church home can do so much for your esteem and morale about life in general. I know it sure did hep me.
