This is inspired by the member who posted her hair history a few days ago, starting from a close crop at age 16. I can't find the post or remember her screen name but here's my shout out! Loved ur post!

Ok here goes the history of my hair, lol :grin:



In the beginning, there was The Big Chop. yeah, that's me, lookin like a lil boy in a dress :nono:.....mom could have at least gave me some earrings to wear or something, sheesh.......but at least I don't have a Jheri-afro-box-mullet like my big sis! :lol: (why'd u do that to us, mom?? :lachen:)

I was on my protective stylin' before I even knew what it was! almost looks like a lace front with all them extra baby hairs......Oh, and where's my tooth? :drunk:

Throughout my teens and twenties, I've been....

curled up.....

Wow your gourgeous. And I laughed out loud about the jherri afro mullet subtitle. Sometimes mom just do anything to us and just brush it off cause we are kids, so it's ok. LOL
 
I enjoyed that! I liked the NL cut on you, but your hair is growing beautifully. keep up the good work! You have a very nice smile. :yep:
 
I thought you meant barbie as in the doll at first because i didnt look at who started the thread lol..

you have a pretty face and pulled off your hairstyles well..even the big chop:grin:
 
You're really pretty and your hair looks great. I think you were too cute with your short cut as a little girl.
 
Pretty hair,pretty lady. That pic w/o the tooth is so cute. Also love the nl cut, I had that cut before, but they're only fun for a short time.
 
OMFG!!! You look exactly like my youngest sister. Wow! The resemblance is uncanny.
 
The weaved up pic must have been in your siggie at one point because it looks so familiar.

Thanks for sharing your hair journey. Your hair looks thick and healthy at the moment so you are obviously doing a great job. Keep it up girlie.
