880 watt hairdryer

Ok I bought this dryer online n I was disappointed to see today that it's only 880 watts!! Do y'all think it will be ok or should I send it back?

If it's a Pibbs, I think you could keep it because they get excellent reviews but any other brand, I'd take it back :( Even my little cheapie Sally's hood dryer has 1400 watts. I read some reviews on the Sally's website regarding a hood dryer that had 900 watts and folks were saying it didn't get hot.
 
Girl send that back, it's not worth keeping. He**, I didn't even know that they made those...
 
I would think that low wattage is just like someone blowing their breath on your hair. Not powerful enough. I stick to 1800W and up.

Have you tried it yet, since you already have it? Just see how it works and if it's not enough, send it back.
 
Yes I tried n I hv to agree I don't think it gets hot enough....
