I have been reading about BKT, will it work on my natural curly hair, or does it work best on permed or texurized hair? I want to wear a straight hair style to a wedding in June. My hair is absolutely always in a bun, but I think it will be fun to wear my hair straight without having to use heat. Am I understanding this correctly, in that the hair dries straight without having to use heat?

Please keep us posted.

I am still loving this treatment. This is my second week of after the treatment and I wore my hair curly this week. My curls have less shrinkage and they feel very moisturized. I also love how my hair hangs when it is straight. I have very fine hair and it seems like the BKT has added weight to my hair. I think that I am going to wear my hair straight next week. I think from now on I am going to do one week straight and one week curly to maintain the health of my hair.

In the first pic of the wash n go, is that pre bkt? If so, could you post a picture of how your wash n goes looked before you had this treatment? Thanks.

That first picture was my wash n go before the BKT treatment. I can post one later showing what it looks like now.

Thanks so much! I'm a natural 4a too, so I love looking at you guy's results. I'm planning on doing this later on this year.

Lady Mariamichelle, What City do you live in?! I mean I'm jealous!:wallbash: I put off the idea of the BKT because of it's cost. I'm in DC metro area and all the quotes have been from 300 up!. I priced the products online and it's just too big of a hit. But 150? I can work with that.....Of course that would mean no new purchases for a couple of months to balance things out.....:yep:

I just called one of the few salons in my area and they charge $300 for shoulder length. Im thinking of just ordering one treatment off of ebay and getting my hairstylist friend to do it and throw her a couple bucks.
