Maybe it was full of Exxon Oil or something LOL some people complain if the shampoo girl doesn't shampoo the ish out of their hair. I think they do it to everybody. I won't be visiting the salon for a while.

just love your hair..... I can not wait... I am pushing on my 3rd yr but I started at 1/4" of hair so I am trying to remember that when I look at yall hair.

But yeah, I'm with you on maintenance. Once you get to your desired goal, you kinda just want to keep it as is.

Hmm not sure if its "simple" or if I'm just lazy LOL :lachen:

I work so many hours and I'm currently in grad school so I don't have time to play with my hair like I would like to. It is nice to get a break from my PJism and save my money.

Beautiful! Love your hair, have always thought it was gorgeous! I have a lazy regi like that too. Curly pony or bun in summer/humid months, braids beneath wigs in fall and winter! I will be very happy when I get to your length! I have never straigtened my hair since becoming all natural in January, so I have no idea as to my true, to-the-inch length.

I'm afraid of salons, but I will go and get a rollerset and flat-iron next fall to eval my progress. I don't like blow-dryers, as they always wreak havoc on my hair...I like your approach to straightening!
