it's a natural butter. Everyone raved about Avocado butter and i hated it! Cichelle and Camelia said great things about Hemp so I tried it and fell in love.

Yeah I know I'm ridiculous w/ this hair of mine. I get bored, want what I don't have etc..... I'm just happy it puts up w/ me and keeps on growing.

3c transitioner here! I just made 1 yr transitioning on feb 10th. i have a few pics. they're not the clearest in the world but they're from a camera phone.
This is my shrinkage photo ( compare to my avatar pic taken the same day before flat ironing )
This is after i did a BC to the back area of my head ONLY( i chopped alittle less hair then what's in the pic above) Co-wash;no products. Those curls really do POP after the relaxed end are off!
Texture shot @ *about* 6 months transitioning i think.

I've been transitioning since Aug 07. I want to bc in Aug 08. How are you girls wearing your hair? I'm about bunned out. I have longer straight ends, so no braid out here. I think I may try to braid up my (natural) hair this summer. Help if you can Also, what does your significant others say about your hair? I got out of the shower last night, hair uncombed and wet. My husband said that my hair looked like a jheri curl!! Not cute!!

i have been transitioning since late june/early july 2007. i was wearing it straight all the time, up until i found LHCF at the end of march, and now my favorite ever is bantu knots. depending on how many i make i can get anywhere from waves to tight curls especially if i take them down before they dry all the way. i want to try banding tonight after i rinse out this DC but being that i have those relaxed ends i think they may look funny.I've been transitioning since Aug 07. but yeah, lots of texture nowadays...i do like twistouts better than braidouts for blending. i am thinking of getting box braids or some other kind of braiding style that will allow me to stop the constant length checks i am performing. lol

My youngest daughter (age 3) is 3C. I find that her hair b/c it's so fine gets easily tangled. What do you do to your hair in order to prevent it from tangling..

and it looks thick and shiny!I don't really know how to prevent tangles, especially for a child...they tend to play rough everyday in the sand and stuff LOL
