Last March, I pledged that I would spend a year taking care of my hair, and if I didn't see any change in my hair, I would go back to what I was doing. Well yesterday marked the end of my year (yay!) and I am DEFINATELY impressed and I am a true believer in the power of actually caring for something the way you know that you should. My hair is longer, thicker, fuller, and just all around HEALTHIER! I am very pleased. I have had a couple of set backs and those times that I just didn't want to care any more and just wanted to basically give up, but I didn't, I was persistant, and followed through with my goal. This was not only about hair for me, it was like an extension...if I can dedicate a year of my life to doing right by my hair, and have such amazing progress, then I can dedicate my life to doing right by other (more important things) and also see results!
I guess the purpose of this was to thank you for all of the help, encouragement, friendship and love that you all have shown to me over the past year (or months, or days). It really means so much to be in a group of such WONDERFUL, COMPASSIONATE BLACK WOMEN! I also want to let you know that if SPASTIC me (Micky, Platinum and BG KNOW what I'm talking about ) can do achieve this goal then ANY of you can! Just remember that every miracle product that comes out for others may NOT be the product for you! You don't have to try everything, and don't be discouraged if what you try doesn't work for you! There WILL be that miracle for you at some point! It took me a year to develop the regimine that I am currently using and it was WELL worth the wait!
WELL, the moral of the story is..THANKS, I couldn't of done it without you!
