3 Year Transition Over!!!! MANY PICS!!!

I started off my hair journey in May 2008, after finding www.growafrohairlong.com. I originally wanted to go for a 6 month stretch but after getting so much growth over sumer I was scared of losing it so decided not to relax again. I only had 5 inches of dyed and relaxed hair and had always thought that afro hair couldn't grow long hence, length was my number one priority and the reason why I couldn't bare to lose much more than an inch a year. My original goal was BSL and I've reached that however, when I reached APL last year that goal changed to MBL and now WL...

MY FIRST WASH 'N GO!!! (Using IC Fantasia )

My regimen includes pre-pooing, washing and steaming once a week and doing whatever style I'm craving during the week. I also wear braids for 7 weeks at a time every couple of months. My pre-poo is either yogurt and honey or avocado, banana, egg and olive oil. My shampoos are KeraCare 1st Lather and Swastik Shikakai bar. My conditioners are Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose and Darcy's botanicals Pumpkin seed. I moisturise with distilled water, aloe vera and glycerin and seal with Castor oil. I use IC Fantasia as my gel.

Oh, and my hair grows a little less than half an inch per month but sometimes in summer I get lucky.

Thanks 2 inches broke off on their own and I cut the last 3 inches in the past 6 months as I'd had enough of them.
