3/4 Wig Suggestions:

I want to add even more hairstyle variety once the weather breaks (it's been in the 100's in KC) and purchase a few 3/4 wigs.

Anyone have suggestions on brands/styles that look really nice. Styling suggestions for making them look natural?

I love hair falls! I started off when I was stretching a perm out by using freestress but they irratated the back of my neck so I went on to Outre. I LOVE the quality of their falls. I also like Sensational for their curly falls but look at http://www.hairsisters.com and check out their falls.

I love them also, I cut the back comb out and use hair pins to hold it in place, sometimes I do the same thing to the front comb, underneath my hair is usually in cornrows, they work in a pinch and look very natural

I love my Sensationnel HZ7009 (I think) it is the strawset one. I threw the 3 I had away because I said I was through with them, but I bought another one yesterday :look: I love getting them with highlights

Freetress looks really natural and Outre has some nice curly styles.

Sensationnel Instant Weves - sensationnel.com
Outre Quick Weaves - outrehair.com
Glance Model Model Cocktail Wigs - made by dreamweaver
Freetress Full Cap wigs - these are made by milky way (i think its milkyway.com or shakengohair.com but I'm not sure)

You can see some styles for all of those brands at hairsisters.com

I totally missed the part about styling suggestions to make them look natural. The one I wear I can do anything with my hair from slicking it down with gel, flat twists, or straw setting my hair (which I never do, more time than I want to invest if I am wearing a wig) Since you are almost 100% natural I would recommend the curlier wigs or if you want a straight look either using a head band or scarf to cover the wig. You would have to do entirely too much to your hair to keep it straight. In my album is a pic of the one I recommended I think in the Oct-Dec 05 folder.

Ooo that's really cute, cincybrownsugar. My DH is gonna wonder "what is really going on" with all these wigs arriving in the mail!

Told ya  I love that darn thing, I will be in that with flat twists in the front probably all winter, I have to get a couple more for my highlights

I co-sign with the others. Freetress, outre and milky way. Don't sleep on the kiddie ponytails, they easily convert to very pretty buns that don't look bulky at all. Some of the quick weaves can also be worn as ponytails as well. All you do is draw the string tighter!
