2nd braid out attempt......plus new growth photos

I'm in my 12th week of my stretch.....Last week I tried to do braid outs for the first time...you can see those results in my fotki....

Yesterday I did them again, and I have to say I like the result better this time around....below are some shots of my new growth and my 2nd braid out attempt....

ETA: Looking at the new growth photos, can someone help me determine my hair type?

Looks nice, I don't know about the hair type. I can't really figure those out.

Thank you Caramela.....I've been trying to figure this hair type thing out for a while, but since I've been relaxed since 6th grade and I don't have alot of pics from early childhood I was unsure of what I was.
