2018 Steaming Our Way To Healthy Hair

Anybody use the Q-Redew steamer? How do you like it?

I don't have the Q-Thing, but I do have a clothes steamer. In fact, I used it today. I have been a bit lackadaisical with my hair care lately, so I steamed my hair to remove the crunch. Then, I put on my pre-treatment to cleanse my scalp and break down the product build-up.

It helps the hair to relax and soften. This allows you to get out those hard to find shed hairs. You have to be careful not to point it to your scalp or it can burn. It really helps with loosening minor tangles that you may have all over your head. I like it.

I have an AICOK hand steam and was inspired to get one from Efficiently Natural on Youtube. She had a CUTE one, but it was not available in my region of the world.

I have it and used it maybe 4 times in all the time I’ve had it. I’m not sure if I just forget about it in my hair closet, or I don’t like how much you have to refill the water and how careful you have to be with it to not feel like it’s pulling on my ends as detangling.

I’ve had my stand up steamer over 10 years, and I still prefer it.

Thanks ladies. I've been eyeing the q-redew for a few years. I think I'm going to take the plunge and buy one. I like how small and convenient it is. I know it has its downsides - like having to refill it often - but I still want to give it a try.

You could’ve gotten mine for 20+shipping. I forget I have it until I’m looking for something else in my hair closet and see it.
