The porosity control is good stuff. The best part is that the little bottle taht will get you through 4-5 washes since you don't need much is like 3 bucks

Now I need to do some research and see what it's used for:perplexed

That's what I feel also, but I didn't want to be steppin' on no toes up in here.:D

gymfreak, it's good to see that things have turned around for you after that sneeky girl did the chop on you. Great recovery girl, keep up the good work!

preciousj, I like quite a few conditioners also. My hair just goes "yum". Are you using the Porosity poo, cond., or both? I don't use poo, and have been wondering if I could use the cond. only.

I hear ya, that's why I fallback most of the time and lurk for awhile;)

Still going strong! I was gonna use my pass and straighten for my B-day in March, but wound up not doing it. I think that I will at the end of this month, just to see how it looks. It's been awhile :)
I've been basically sticking to my regimen and only trying new things here and there.

I've slacked a little on my vitamins, but I've fixed that. I am enjoy this stretch of mine too, and my hair is doing lovely in the health department and it has grown, I can't wait until my 6 month stretch is over. I've been keeping it in cornrows or about 6 large platts. Today I did a rollerset for the first in over a month  I can't believe I went that long w/o rollersetting, but keeping my hair in braids have made it soo much easier. Plus the rollers I use now out grew that darn Golden Hot hard bonnet dryer so I had to wait for the new dryer to be able to rollerset like a normal person.

Well, I was doing spectacular until last week. I was going strong and whole head baggying nightly but I noticed my scalp was itchy and my lymph nodes (I *think* that's what there called) in the back of my neck began to swell. Unfortunately, these are the signs of folliculitis which I recovered from early last year (which about 1/4 of my hair fell out from the scalp). My dermatologist's office is so hard to get into and I want to take antibiotics as my last resort. I made a spray of rosemary essential oil and basil essential oil and grapefruit seed extract which helps kill microrganisms. I can bearly feel my swollen lymph node and my scalp does not itch. Only thing is my hair hates this spray and my hair is all dry and crunchy and I'm seeing little bits of my ends again. Sigh....

I think that the whole head baggy might have been the culprit cause I sweat so much especially with the baggy on my head plus with oils on my scalp. I'm going to do some intense deep conditioning treatments until I get rid of the crunchies and will only baggy the ends.

I'm doing pretty good. I'm adding the co-wash methods to the mix on Wednesdays and using emergencee and DC on Saturdays. I airdry and just put my hair into two plaited pigtails. My hair feels good and strong so I guess it's a good thing. Today's the first co-wash I've done in a while.... Don't know how it's going to work out... I changed a few things (using suave alone didn't work....) so i made a mix of stuff(conditioners and oils). I'll have to post how well I did (or didn't) like it. :)

I'm hanging in there. I haven't been taking my vitamins like I should be but otherwise I'm following all the rules. I made it through a particularly strong desire the straighten which last for like a month and a half. And I did my first aphogee treatment which was amazing. My shedding (healthy) has been cut down by at least a half which I didn't expect. And the aphogee along with ORS hair mayonnaise are the first two products to make it onto my permanent product list. Yaa.

Thanks TSmith...no worries here...I appreciate your bravery in carrying the torch!! You get a PURPLE HEART!!

I apologize for my absence ladies.... overtime at work + grad school graduation+ buying my first property= no spare time. Before last night, I hadnt been on LHCF in over a month. Wow...I cant believe I typed that.... Thats soo hard to believe  I never thought I would say those words.

Anyways, I am VERY GLAD to hear that everyone is doing well and sticking to the challenge. In my absence, I have been doing well with my hair regi.....I did use a pass and get my hair pressed for Easter and dusted about 1/4 of an inch. My consequence is in effect.:ohwell:
