1. OMG. I was so shocked to find Avanti Silicon Mix in Duane Reade! I get off of work too late to go to a beauty supply store, so I went to Duane Reade to pick up some Motions CPR for my pre poo. Much to my surprise, they did not have the CPR, but they had the Silicon Mix (poo and cond), as well as Miss Keys 10-en-1 (poo and cond). I will be sending a thank you e-mail to Duane Reade.

2. I'm getting my first weave tomorrow. I'm super nervous. It's going to be a sew in and I plan to leave it in for as along as possible, lol. I do plan on going back to the salon to get it washed, but I don't know how often. Is there anything I should know/be mindful of?

I found a slew of Dominican products at Duane Reade in Jersey City, New Jersey as well as New York. They are much cheaper than here in Maryland. I had a fun time. They had a nice variety as well...
