2 strand twist

How do you make the strands not unravel? Am I suppose to put something in it to hold the ends. And how long is it suppose to last?

I use a small, tiny curler and then I don't notice the unravelling. Anyhoos, I prefer to unravel my twists after they've dried.

Try it with the tiny rollers (I used the tiny blue magnetic rollers, but perm rods probably would work much better) and see if that works for you!

I usually do my twists with a gel, and I don't get any unraveling. I only keep them in for a week at a time (without extensions).

I use shea butter to do mine and they stay without heat or gel. However, maybe you should see out more relaxed people who do this style and see how they keep it looking good. I think that you have to do a bit more because straight hair slips around a lot more than wavy or curly hair.
