Is there anyone here that has relaxed, healthy thick hair?

Also for those of you who are relaxed when you do your braid outs, How do you moisturize your ends?

Kaykay-

My hair is relaxed and healthy, but I don't think it's thick. Some may differ. Anyway, when I do my braidouts, I tend to moisturize my hair with s-curl and vaseline. The vaseline is just to seal in the moisture. Mango butter is good as well glycerin-based products.

Thank you 19sweetie but how do you get the vaseline and stuff throughout your hair with out straightening it out Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question but I am scared that moisturizing it will make the crinkles fall.

I have healthy, relaxed hair that is VERY think, it can happen. When I do my braidouts I spray a mix of distilled water, kemi oyl, and vitamin e oil.

Well my beautician says I have healthy hair and its pretty thick. It is both relaxed and has color. I however, dont do braid outs because I cant braid worth a d***!

Hi KayKay

I have healthy thick hair that grows very well. However, I do not where protective styles (just not me), but I do where braidouts sometimes and after shampooing I saturate with leave-in conditioner then coat the length with coconut oil or some other type of oil based product. If you wear your braidout daily mist with some type of gloss or sheen.

Hope that helps!
Happy Growing!!

I have thick and very healthy below waist lenght relaxed hair. I don't do braid outs, but I keep my hair moiturized with oil in a bun all the time.

my hair is relaxed and pretty thick. it's very healthy though.

when i do braid outs, i use the same stuff i use for the bun, which is a mix of World of Curls gel activator and Fantasia IC gel all over my hair. then i apply Vaseline just to the ends. i usually just put it in a bun like normal. when it's dry and i take it down, i have loose, moisturized waves.

I do what Adrienne does and just apply the vaseline to the ends. Sometimes I'll use the mango butter on my ends or some sort of grease. It just depends on what your hair likes.

I have very thick and healthy relaxed hair. It's thick from roots to ends. I have to wear a bun all the time because I'm in the air force. That has a lot to do with why I don't have much trouble with my ends.

I just tried my first braid out last week end. It turned out better than I expected

! I used UBH moisturizer, curl activater, a little olive oil and blue magic hair grease. It turned out very shiny and wavy. I got a lot of compliments at church Sunday.

I have very thick, healthy relaxed hair. I don't do braidouts though, cause no matter what they always come out matted and frizzy and nasty looking
