$140 Shampoo!!!?

Sooooo, the link above boasts a new shampoo by Phillip B that costs $140!!! I mean there's got to be a point at which shampoos really don't differ much, and i thought the Keretase price range was that point! However I must admit... claims such as these really intrigue me and make me want to try the product. As I continue to dream, I ask u ladies... anyone try this?

that price is just too much why would anyone want to pay that much for some shampoo at least let the bottle come with someone who will wash your hair for you.

Shampoo cleans your hair and scalp. It will never make your grow no matter what it has in it. Here's what it supposedly does ....

Technically, this is a shampoo, so it washes your hair, and quite nicely. But a good cleaning doesn't justify the price. No, what justifies it are the seeable, feelable results of 11 repairing amino acids, elasticity-improving silk, soy and wheat proteins, power botanicals like green tea, chamomile, rosemary, nettle, burdock and sage, hydrating shea butter, and an outrageously high level of panthenol (vitamin B5).

Note that it's a jar, not a bottle, and may be highly concentrated so maybe it could last for most of a year especially in rotation with another shampoo. I'm sure many lhcf'ers spend at least 140 bucks/year on multiple bottles of shampoo (or conditioner) anyway. I'm very happy with my shampoo so not interested but just making sense of the product and price tag.

Even if it lasted 2 years I wouldn't buy it. I would buy 7 bottles a year for 2 years even if the total ended up being $140. I couldn't justify spending that much on 1 bottle of shampoo. Plus, I get to try different products in the process.

Oh yeah I saw that in a magazine some months ago. The person that used it said she only needed a little bit and that her hair felt great...but cmon son?! No way in hell. Philip B is hella expensive anyway. I saw the price of one conditioner and damn near died.

You'd expect at that price for the shampoo to be packed with beautiful exotic ingredients, but no!

I know many ladies have said this already but NO, NO, NO. The only way I would EVER spend that much on 1 single shampoo is if I grew 1 inch/use.
