Sorry ladies that’s my final answer. I gave this stuff three chances. No I didn’t use heat but I did bag it up and cover with a towel. Each time I had to go over it with another conditioner. Plus what's up with the minty, sulphur smell? The jury is still out on the ORS no-lye. I will wait another week before I write a review to see if I start looking fluffy like I did with the SE.

I don't like the Mayo either. I just used it up as a prepoo until I got rid of it. I am not repurchasing.

What didn't you like Ebony? It wasn't moisturizing enough? I think the first time I used it, I had major breakage...that was 2 months ago, and haven't used it since. Isn't it protein and you have to follow with moisture con?

I didnt experience anything special from it as well...

I think Im gonna experiment with the other mayos before I give up on them completely.

hmm...if you're talking about ORS hair mayo, at dollar stores it's like 3-4 dollars.

See now I’m really mad. It was the ORS Hair Mayo I bought it at Sally’s for $10 and some change. It is suppose to be a protein so I expected to fell a difference in texture when I used it. Usually my hair responds to proteins by thickening up and getting stronger. I have a lot to use up so I will try with heat to see if there is a difference.

I've tried it twice before and it sucked. If I recall, I used heat with it the first time and I was so unhappy. I dunno...........

I don't think this treatment was for my hair either. This was the first protein treatment I tried after I realized Motions CPR was not the entire universe of protein treatments, and it didn't give my hair anything it needed.

Yeah, I used it a while back, but I was always wishing it would do more. And I totally feel you on the having to use another conditioner afterwards. It leaves a disgusting filmy feeling on my hair.

I haven't used ORS hair mayo in a long time. I'll probably use it as a prepoo just to get rid of it. When I first used it I noticed that it helped my hair a little, but I've since graduated to products that seriously keep my hair nice and soft. Therefore, I've had no reason to purchase.
