How are you applying the castor oil?

I started with putting it in all of my products like my deep conditioners, leave in and oil mix. I don't use a moisturizer a lot because my hair tends to retain moisture well and generally like to have oil applied instead. Now I apply it to the length of my hair daily along with the amla oil and vatika oil.

MissFallon your hair looks great! I have been wanting to try JBCO for a while now and I have been hearing nothing but great things about Alma oil. I am finally starting to retain some length and it seems like the longer my hair gets the thinner it looks. That may be also because the crown grows so much slower than the back so the longer parts look really thin :(

I think I am going to try these oils. Hopefully they can help me in the meantime.

Congrats!!! This is inspiring! I'm trying to get my thick hair back by using Jamaican Black Castor Oil, so hopefully I'll be there in a year's time as well.

Amla oil - where do you buy it and do you mix it with something else?

I purchased it in a indian neighborhood store in NYC. I believe they sell it online but I'm not sure where exactly sorry:ohwell:

That's good to know that you have found the "secret" to thickening that hair up girlie!! After reading so many of the great posts here about the castor oil and vatika, I am using both now as well and I can say that I've been experiencing thickness as well.
