Question for the long haired ladies. I know every so often you're asked the general question: "How did you reach your current length?", but I'd like to know, specifically, how you styled your hair before you reached long lengths.
What did you do with your hair at neck length, shoulder length...

I totally dig protective styling. But at what point is it no longer “protective?” Or “styling?” I mean, hair that’s ALWAYS put away? Bless everyone who can do it! I try so hard to put my hair away but I LOVE splaying in it...

i want twists because i want them really long and feel like they wont be as heavy or take as long to put in
but i want braids because i'm thinking it will protect the hair better and be easier to take down
I've been reviewing different techniques but haven't seen this.
Has anyone tried this?
1. Apply product to dry hair.
2. Twist.
3. Rinse under shower water (just enough to moisten the hair)
4. Towel dry excess water,
5. Dab a lil more product on, seal the ends & set as usual.
