blowdry

I only blowdry my hair once a year or so, and I've had the same hairdryer (Wahl PowerPik) for 10+ years. It seems that I can get a better quality one, what things should I look for? I have an old bottle of ORS Heat Protection Hair Serum, is that one ok or is there a superior product? Thanks in...
