How do you use your Jamaican Black Castor Oil (ie, on own, mixed with.., etc)?

Hi All,

If this has already been discussed, please point me in the direction of that thread.

How is everyone using their Jamaican Black Castor Oil? I just received my first bottle and I have some general ideas but I'd love some suggestions from the new and long-time users on here.

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I mix mine with equal parts of jojoba, grapeseed, and avocado oils in a spout bottle from Sallys. It has the ounce markings for easy measuring, and the spout for easy access to scalp. I use that to part the hair while applying the oil. HTH

I use it on its own to seal, directly on my scalp, or mix with a moisturizing leave in to spray my hair all over.

I have a question, why does one mix the JBCO? What are the bennies of using it alone vs. mixed with something else? I I am thinking about buying it, just not sure how to use it.

I want to get some JBCO, and I plan to use it straight applied to scalp/roots, and to ends to seal in my moisturizing products.

-I pour it into my DC
-I apply it straight to scalp and hairline
-I mix it with MN and apply to scalp
-I mix it with another oil to thin it out enough to create a sealing oil.
