I just bought some today and I'm ready to try them out....How do you use your avocados?
And for what purpose do you use them for?

Thanks! :)

you can use it as an hair mask. I made a mistake from not blending them really good, and not mixing enough of oil in it. I had a few chunks in my hair, but my hair felt way stronger.

I've never used them personally, but my idea would be to blend them in a blender or food processor with some oil like EVOO or another fave. I would also see about adding some shea butter or some other creamy condish. Use it as a hair mask/deep condish as drea53 advised.

oh..so are they like a protien treatment? If so are they better than eggs..

It dont really work as a protein treatment for me, Eggs, mayos, and kertain treatments makes my hair breaks, even if followed by a deep conditoner. yup so I'am protein sensitive.
I'am natural, but It did leave my hair softer, shiner, and with lots of volume.... after i got rid of all the tiny chunks.:yep: My avatar is the outcome of that avocado treatment.

Mash them up real good before putting them in your hair. It also makes a realy good face mask, very refreshing.

Keep one avocado - mash up, add lime, dip in nachos and eat LOL

let's see....green salad with spinach and avocado, tortilla soup with avocado chunks, avocado slices and turkey sandwiches...:yep:

Two weeks ago I made my avocado concoction and a week later made the same mix for my moms hair and we both had good results...

I used:
1 whole avocado
1 whole egg
1 teaspoon of coconut oil or evoo ( I used coconut oil for me and evoo for my mom)
1 teaspoon of Organix coconut milk conditioner

I made sure I mixed it up really well to a creamy consistency. I let it sit for an hour and then I used a little shampoo to make sure the smell and product was gone...I used lacio lacio and rollerset....My hair felt stronger but still soft.

My mom after she rinsed with shampoo, used some conditioner for maybe a hot sec., combed and took it out then used lacio lacio as well...she had the same stronger/soft results.

We are both relaxed she is like 12 weeks plus into her stretch, I recently relaxed like 3 weeks ago...if that helps at all.

A great deep conditioner. Mix it with your favorite oils, yogurt, honey molasses in a food processor or blender and it is a great deep conditioner.

Add some coconut milk, honey EVOO, and a very moiturizing conditioner to balance out the moisture protein and DC with it. Your hair will be SHINY and strong!
