Should I attempt to make my own custom lace wig?

I saw two videos on You Tube showing basic instructions on how to create your own lace front wigs.
I join LHCF months ago and you have inspired and educated me on hair care. I am now on a relaxer stretch (14 weeks) and/or maybe a transition. I've also discovered the wonderful world of lace front wigs.
Making a lace front wig looks very simple but very time consuming. Have you ever attempted to make your own lace front wig? How did it turn out?

I wish I knew how to paste the You tube instructions but I'm not there yet.

I believe she just wanted you to post the URL in the browser, not the actual video, so that you can just click on the link and go to the video like this:
