Hey ladies!!
As many of you know I have a bit of a problem:blush:. I have admitted it before and I will admit it again. I am a ...... DYE ADDICT :spinning:. I was on my own personal journey to see if I could make it an entire year without dying my hair. Well I did really good and made it 6 whole months. My hair was blonde (check my album if you would like to see it) and with my hair growing 1 inch per month,I was really starting to hate it. I have been wearing buns for about 3 1/2 mths now and I plan on going 3 more months before I straighten it. My hair was a pretty color and it looked like I just had chunky streaks since it was in a bun however every time I would air dry with a part down the middle I just H.A.T.E.D looking at the two tones and couldn't see myself going 6 more months:nono:. This evening I ran to Walgreens and got Feria's new color "Bright Black" http://www.walgreens.com/store/cata...ID=prod9520&navCount=0&navAction=push-product. I washed out the color and begged my daughter to comb it out and add mango butter and that is it. Here is a pic  I must admit out of all of the colors that I have tried, there is nothing like black hair!

Oooh that's nice :yep: I wanna dye mine black too but I've never colored at home before.

thank you!! i have been coloring my own hair since the early 90's lol i tried the salons on more than one occasion and each time i ended up spending a ton of money and getting a color that i did NOT ask for so with that being said i will never trust anyone else but myself to do my colors

I agree! I went to black about 2 years ago when I did a bad bad thing, I dyed my hair blondish for prom and lets just say the day right after I went and got the darkest color I can find. Since then, I've been religiously dying my hair black with Bigen Oriental Black or Blue Black. There is no color like black!

I've been trying to dye my hair black for weeks and none of the rinses are working. lol. Are you a natural? Was the color drying at all? I'm kinda scared to do perm. color with a relaxer.

yeah i feel you cuz rinses dont work for me either. no it is not drying. i just woke up and my hair looks exactly the same and is still shiny. and yes im a natural. i would say that black would be less drying that going with light colors and alot of girls on lhc are relaxed and they dye but just not as often but the good thing about black is that you dont have to do it all the time.

Love the black. I am on my own no color, just black challenge.

Black hair just looks so healthy and classic, effortlessly.

(Let's see if I feel that way when it gets warm.)
