The Hair Story: Once Upon a Time

Let's write a story. Each poster will add one or two lines to write our masterpeice. First line:

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl named Tiffany, known for her hair swag and fabulous mane.

Every day she had a new style nothing was the same

One day Tiffany ran into Shaniqua who had a jacked up weave and she mentioned that she was looking to switch up her look a bit.

So Tiffany suggested that Shaniqua remove her weave, do a chiq buzz cut aka the BC and join the cult LHCF.

Shaniqua shook her weave and said "nu uh! that aint for me." Why grow new hair when you can buy it?erplexed

Tiffany responds...Niqua obviously you want to try something to new that is why you approached me...However - you do you and if u decide to come over to that "darkside" you know where to find me....

Tiffany walks away as her hair bounces and sways in the wind....

Shaniqua is thinking and thinking well maybe but I don't know I don't want to deal with my nappy "bad Hair" What IS this LHCF let me check it out

Let me see what LHCF is all about

She lurks on LHCF and finds herself hair obssessed!!!! Everyday she checking threads reading post and developing PJ Tendencies

Fast forward 1 year and LHCF membership and 6 extra inches of healthy hair Niqua runs into Tiffany at the local BSS

She lurks on LHCF and becomes obessed.

Then an ephiphany hits her

My hair is a HA mess

Tiffany sees the obvious improvement in Niqua's previously jacked, dry, and overprocessed hair. Niqua gushes about her LHCF journey and tosses her new healthy mane with animation.

She runs out the house to her local bss
she just can't wait to get her hair looking fly

She says to herself this LHCF is great let me give this a try

Then Niqua bumps into her neighbor Toya (who is wearing a blond & red quick weave) who loudly says in front of other people in the BSS, "Niqua, who you think you is? You know that's some Outre or Milky Way up on yo head!"

and Niqua thinks "you know what I aint got time for this...let me go see what happening in LHCF entertainment forum"

So on to the Entertainment forum she goes where she learns that the Tiger Woods Mistress Count is up to 20.

Niqua is heartened by her journey to the Entertainment forum. She is so enthusiastic that she comes back to the hair forum and makes her first post about her newly swanging hair... but...

as everyone wrote. She was afraid to post LHCF is no joke

Sooooo Niqua was like I had not idea it was that serious!

But she post pics of her thick BSL hair and low and behold Tiffany and the chick who is now lurking on LHCF peep her thread with photos.

Tiffany is like Wow someone DID listen to me. but is a little Jealous because now she will not be the ONLY one with SWAG

But then, she felt convicted, b/c she knew that it was not right to be jealous of another's growth. So she prayed on it and was diligent in her hair walk and low and behold her hair hit a growth spurt. She retained 8" of hair that year!

And with the extra 8 inches Tiffany proudly ran her fingers through her crowning glory and shook her pretty hair

Tiffany began to consider transitioning, but she was afraid to big chop. I can't let go of all this hair she thought

^she went to lchf for advice, the majority told her to 'snip snip snip' and then it turned in to a dance- off.

One day after attending her first LHCF meetup, once she returned home, a tipsy Tiffany took the plunge and BC'd. When she posted pics, with the newly chopped off 20+ inches in her right hand, some ladies applauded and celebrated her new natural journey, while others wept, thinking "how could she cut off ALL that hair"?

When Tiffany was at the BSS shopping for a good moisturizer for her TWA she ran into Niqua who was shocked to learn about her BC.......(she had missed the thread since she now spent most her time in the ET forum)

Tiffany tells Niqua how free and beautiful she feels since her big chop "having BSL wasn't all that like I thought"

When Tiffany got home from the BSS, she starts to regret doing the BC after looking at Niqua's hair.
