I'm intrigued. I may try this. I found the ingredients:

WATER, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, BEHENTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, MENTHYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, PANTHENOL, CYCLOMETHICONE, SILK AMINO ACIDS, HELI ANTHUS ANNUUS 9SUNFLOWER0 SEED EXTRACT, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, QUATERNIUM-80, FRAGRANCE, CITRIC ACID, METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZAOLINONE AND METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE.

A stylist recommended this leave-in to me when I was picking up some product. He raved about how amazing it was but I was like "whatever". There are some really good reviews on that site...might have to try it out.

Oh, and I like Tia Williams and her blog/reviews. That's fab that she is the beauty editor at essence now!

I like it too, I'm really happy for her.

Thanks for sharing... I loved her blog, but I can see already I will love her Essence.com videos.

I just ordered a 4 oz. bottle from BlueBeez. Based on the ingredients, this will probably be great for flat ironing. According to the Beauty Brains, cetrimonium chloride and other low molecular weight conditioners (apparently including behentrimonium chloride, the third ingredient in this product) can actually strengthen hair in the presence of heat.

I plan to use it with my next touch-up and flat ironing, which will probably happen in a week. I'll review it then.

Hmmm, I wonder if Miracle 7 is a knock-off of this. The consistency and the way it sprays out sounds/looks similar.

I rarely come over to this board (I hang out in the Makeup and Health forums), but today my sister showed me a bottle of this EXACT product. I took it so I could come here and research it on this board because I know LHCF ladies always have the 411, and you ladies do NOT disappoint. Now I will have to get my own bottle!

Wow at this comment :nono:

No offense but how does this work on natural hair? It appears you have a weave which may respond differently than course natural african american hair. Again no offense meant...just trying to decide if this will work on my natural tresses.
PS: Welcome to Essence..Best of luck in your new job. PLEASE..don't forget were in a recession and always looking for inexpensive products that perform well and don't break the budget.

Anyway, I was this close to getting this product at Trade Secret today.

Thanks for sharing this! That lady's hair is very pretty and she is very convincing. Sounds like it may be worth a try.

Why did I come in this thread? Sometime in the future, I will try and pick it up, if someone finds it in NYC in a store please let me know!! I hate ordering stuff online and paying shipping!
But if this can be a new weapon to bring to dominican salons....

oh and I :dead: at this comment:

she looks stank and she trying to act all white.

:perplexed

I had the same reaction to the comment you posted forever in bloom.

Don't get me started. I've been looking at the deep treatment and the leave in for two months now but the price is putting me off. WHY OH WHY believe it or not I saw the deep condish in pathmark for $5 friggin dollars before and didn't get it!! And then saw reviews about it and went back and it was all gone. I was so mad!!!!

that is some expensive stuff but I really want to try it...
I wonder what the ingredients are in the sally knock off?

Long time lurker here. I went to a Dominican salon last year and she used this on my hair before she roller set it. I was several weeks post and the comb glided through my hair. I searched high and low for it but could never find it for purchase anywhere. I saw it in Trade Secret 2 weeks ago and bought 2 bottles because I'd remembered the name.

This is the best detangler I've EVER used. And trust I've used all of them :-)

I received the It's a 10 Miracle Shine spray w/noni oil today, but I haven't used it yet.

Glad it works for her and her hair looks great but some of the contents: parabens, Behintri-flammable ingredient. Nah..I'll pass on this one-my PJ is on a good hiatus.

Thanks for sharing! They have it on amazon with other its a 10 products. I want to try it, maybe I will check TJ Max or Sallys.
