I realized I have so many conditioners but maybe one bottle of shampoo. When looking at the shampoo ingredients they seem alright. Are there any users of the moisture balancing poo or the acidfying poo? Can you give me a small review.

I use the moisture balancing shampoo. It leaves my hair soft and hydrated, never stripped. They say the molecules are so large that it prevents the shampoo from going deep into the hair and stripping it of it's natural oils. It cleans well, but there's no dryness at all. I love it and has been using it for a year now.

Ive been using the moisture benefits poo for about 2 months and its my staple shampoo, it leaves my hair soft and doesn't dry it out. I also have the clarifying shampoo and it does the same as the moisture benefits i rotate them. The clarifying poo is good if you have hard water it also removes mineral deposits, ive used it for about a year.

The Moisture Benefits poo is amazing. It's my favorite shampoo, never dries my hair out, leaves it feeling healthy and soft.

The clarifying poo does the job well, but it's very gentle. Cleans without stripping. Love it.

I use the Elucence Volume Clarifying shampoo all the time. It's a staple. I have not used any other shampoo by Elucence. It has a pH of 4.5-5.5. The ingredients are:
willow bark extract, sage extract, honey extract, chamomile extract, green tea extract, wild yam extract, wheat germ in purified water, sodium myreth sulfate (coconut oil derived), sodium 14-16 olefin sulfonate (mineral derived), cocomidopropyl betaine (coconut oil derived), cocoamide MEA (coconut oil derived), salicylic acid, biotin, panthenol, hydrolyzed wheat protein, EDTA, propylparaben (usp), benzophenone-4 (UV absorbant), fragrance/parfum, FD&C Blue 1 CI 42090, D&C yellow 5 CI 19140.

I love this shampoo. It does not make the hair feel stripped or dry at all. You only need a little bit because of the "condensed product processing" (i.e. "works twice as hard with half the product"). It clarifies and chelates. It's the bomb. I won't use any other clarifying or chelating shampoo.

The Volume Clarifying is amazing. I love the smell, too. If I could use it every time I shampooed, I would.

Yeah, both of the Elucence shampoos are so concentrated, it only takes literally a drop to get a full head of lather. The 8 ounce bottle will probably last me 3 years.

I also love that they're priced so cheaply at CurlMart. These shampoos are worth way more than $6!

Girl, don't go saying that out loud!
"They" could be seeing this. :sekret:

I just purchased a bottle of the MB shampoo a couple days ago, so I'll give an update next wek.

I really like both shampoos as well. The mb poo is creamy like the old cream of nature shampoo but without the weird smell and build up I would get with it and the clarifying poo is great for removing build up but still doesn't leave my hair stripped at all. I just used the clarifying last night and my hair was lookin so luscious without any conditioner

ETA The clarifying smells like an apple martini and the mb smells like peaches :lick:

I buy from CurlMart too, and co-signing on how long it lasts! I bought the 10.1 oz bottle months and months ago and I still have enough for like another year's worth. But that's only because it's so good that I've been letting others use it. Question... the clarifying shampoo claims that it exfoliates (salicylic acid) the scalp to help encourage growth. Have you noticed an increase in hair growth since using it?

Thanks for the reviews. I did purchase the moisture balancing and the acidfying shampoos just to try them out. I do like how there are no harsh ingredients.

I guess I will see how it works, my shampoo day isn't until sunday so I still have a while to go.
I hope it works for you cause it's a great buy for ingredients and price. But I'll tell ya, my hair is a spoiled brat and my hair doesn't like MOST shampoos I've tried so I stick with what I know, cause everytime I try something new my hair feels hard and stripped. The ONLY new shampoo that I tried and love is Organix Coconut Milk and my old favorite is CON the moisturizing one. Let us know how it works for you.

I love the Moisture shampoo and the Clarifying shampoo. At first the moisture shampoo made my hair feel stripped. I'm not sure why, maybe my hair had to get used to it, but now my hair loves it! It's super moisturizing and produces lots of lather. Hope you like it.

I totally agree with you all; the moisture benefits poo is the truth. This poo does a great job of moisturizing my hair. It's one of my staples. I've never tried the clarifying poo, but that is definitely on my list to try. :yep:

As a natural the moisture benefits shampoo didn't do much. i really didn't care for it. As a texlaxed head(which I am right now) I really love it. My hair feels so good after using this shampoo. The same thing happened for the conditioner except the conditioner use to be my fav but now its just okay. I haven't tried any of the other poos.

Aw, I'm sorry Elucence didn't work out for you and I totally feel you on trying new products and the hair being like . My hair seems to hate shampoo, unless it's a shikakai bar or elucence clarifying poo. I remember I tried the hydratherma naturals moisture boosting shampoo and it made my hair hard as rocks. I was so upset. It took awhile to get it feeling back to normal. I will never stray again.

How are these shampoos for relaxed hair? Anyone know?

I'm texlaxed and I use the clarifying shampoo. I don't see why relaxed heads can't use these shampoos. I used the shampoo when I was natural too and it affected my hair the same way...clean, but not dried out or stripped.

Same thing happened to me...:nono::sad:

Did you clarify before you shampooed with it like the directions said? I don't think it makes a huge difference that I used Elucence to clarify before using the HN shampoo instead of their clarifying shampoo, because my hair was fine before I used it. But afterwards my hair was literally clumped together and very, very hard. Now I use the shampoo to clean my make up brushes. I don't know what posessed me to buy the full size shampoo when she sent me a sample size anyway.
