Very pretty soft waves. They came out nice. And ahm...gimme those giant beautiful eyes you have. Wow!

very pretty results.

i tried this yesterday when i tried to copy gabbanagirl's caruso set/bantu style. it turned out okay

I should've stopped after the bantu knots removal, it looked cute. I used regular rollers because I was too lazy to go buy carusos & it looked a mess.

how often would you do this and are you worried it'll keep rubbing against your shoulders

Yeah, definitely. It's at that awkward length where if I wear it the least bit curly or wavy, it hits right at my shoulders. I love to enjoy my hair, but I try to wear it up more often than not. Gotta keep my eye on the prize ;)

This is a very pretty, elegant, and classic look for you. I want to try these once I am full APL. Hopefully by June of next year I can start to play around with this style.

You are wearing our shirt! LOL

That turned out really cute. What did you secure them with? Did they fall/how long did it last?

I stopped doing them because they were causing too much stress on my hair and just use a few flexirods on dry hair instead. Maybe I will revisit with caution.

I'll trade the left one for 5 inches of your hair! :giggle:

I just secured them with bobby pins. Yeah, it was a little misty that day, so they did fall, but the waves were still smooth, just more limp. Probably would have lasted longer had I used mousse or setting foam.

Oh yeah, I forgot about our shirt! i love it

Looks beautiful! I just started doing a few bantu knots too because I like the loose waves, not the tight ones. I'm also loving what I can do with my hair now that I've been on this and other boards.

You always have such great hair pictures! And you are very pretty! Nice hair too! I love the waves! Ya my bantu knot out didn't come out so great!

Gorgeous! Did you do this on air-dried, blow-dried, rollerset, flat ironed or wet hair (or other?)? TIA! ;)
